You will support the Senior Buyer in managing a designated product category, helping to ensure that we deliver exceptional value for our customers. As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting the buying function and ensuring that we offer the best value to our customers. Your responsibilities include:

Monitoring daily sales, margin performance, and stock availability. Assisting in product range planning and working closely with Merchandisers and Supply Chain. Managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiations. Handling the administration of product samples and supplier offers. Conducting competitor benchmarking and market research. Organising and attending supplier meetings, ensuring follow-ups and actions are completed. Supporting the implementation of new product ranges and promotions

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Strong Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Good communication and negotiation skills. An eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving problems. A keen interest in the retail industry and some experience in buying or a related role. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
