What you’ll do


We are looking for a passionate Junior Developer (f/m/d) to work on our innovative global project contributing to our flagship S/4HANA Private Cloud. You will work in one of the engineering scrum teams responsible for the Private Cloud solution International Trade Management.

Your responsibility will cover all stages and tasks within the entire Cloud software development cycle, including the overall responsibility for your code through design, implementation, test automation, continuous integration and deployment. 
 
You will contribute to backlogs around the application development or potentially also architecture topics. Your willingness to collaborate with customers, end-users and other development teams is a strong need to bring this solution forward.
 
You need to be comfortable to work in an agile environment, bringing in your competencies as a team player, establishing standards in our team, sharing your knowledge, motivating other team members, building consensus, while being open to new ideas and approaches at the same time.
 
What you bring


Our ongoing expansion relies on the expertise of individuals who possess diverse skills, knowledge, and backgrounds. We are currently seeking for a candidate who possesses the following skills:

Degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in information technology, computer or natural science, engineering or equivalent subject Good programming knowledge in an object-oriented language, e.g. C++, Java, ABAP Objects etc. High commitment to quality, reliability, and a self-motivating style of working Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude; adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness. Experience with ASE techniques, test-driven development, unit tests, continuous integration & delivery and pair programming are a plus Good analytical and communication skills and willingness to continuously learn Very good German and English language skills (verbal and written)

 
During your first months, we offer you training courses geared to your individual knowledge and experience, a buddy program. Importantly, we don’t just expect you to learn from us – we want you to share your fresh insights and ideas actively with us as well.

 

Meet the team


The development is set up globally with teams in Walldorf (Germany), Shanghai (China) and Brno (Czech Republic). A close cooperation between the teams is key and you will work in an international environment directly together with colleagues from other locations. 
We work in cross functional teams applying Scrum as well as methods of agile software development.
