Job DescriptionICF Next creates and implements communication campaigns and services for European institutions. We ensure that the messages of the key EU policies reach the citizens and stakeholders.
ICF Next is looking for a Junior Communication Manager to join the Client Relations Department. S/he will assist the Senior Campaign Manager in designing and implementing EU 360° communication campaigns, projects and services. S/he will be involved in a day-to-day work on the campaign, planning and executing work with the expert teams, follow-up on specific communication activities, and participate in key meetings.
Responsible for:
Assisting the Project Manager in the day-to-day tasks
Scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Drafting project reports
Preparing meeting agendas, records actions from meetings and draft meeting reports
Attending clients and teams’ meetings
Keeping the project planning updated
Updating the list of deliverables and keep track of it
Follow-up the action tracker with the team
Organizing and update the campaign’s collaborative platform
Quality control
Following up with internal teams on specific deliverables
Implementing projects using the PRINCE2 methodology
Developing lessons learned log
Identifying bottlenecks and proposing workflows under guidance of the Campaign Manager
Competencies / Skills
Knowledge and interest in the fields of communication and EU affairs.
Self-motivated and self-directed with a “can do” attitude.
Good organization and planning skills
Collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve goals.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Min. 1 year in Project management/ EU affairs background
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
