SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Junior Contractmanager Location: Schiedam Fulltime: 40 hours per week Mammoet is looking for an ambitious Junior Contractmanager to join our team in Schiedam. In this role, you will support contract management activities and gain valuable hands-on experience in an international environment. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, helping to ensure compliance and smooth project execution. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or those at the start of their careers who are eager to develop their skills in contract management. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts for global projects, ensuring compliance with company policies. Support the tender process by reviewing, analyzing, and selecting contract forms that align with project needs. Work with project teams to identify potential contract risks, claims, and changes. Prepare summaries of key contract terms to support decision-making. Contribute to risk assessments by gathering and analyzing relevant contract data. Assist in developing subcontractor agreements that align with project requirements. Help resolve contract-related issues, ensuring smooth operations. WHAT YOU’LL NEED A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, commercial, or legal discipline. An eagerness to learn—prior experience is not required, but any relevant internship or academic exposure is a plus. Basic knowledge of contract law and risk management. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
