Kforce has a client that is a seeking a Junior Cost Engineer in Austin, TX. This role is 100% onsite for a 6-month contract with possible extension/conversion. This position will be directly responsible for reviewing labor cost from contractors, rate verification, change of role validation, invoices review. Responsibilities: * Junior Cost Engineer will evaluate resources offered by Staff agencies and cross-reference Company needs * Verify rates for each resource and ensure it complies with pre-negotiated agreement * Review compliance for requests of role change * Ensure proper documentation to backup any role changes, rate changes & other backup is available for audit traceability * As a Junior Cost Engineer, you will review invoices submitted by Staff agencies * Track and prepare periodic reports to communicate metrics and performance of the work that is being controlled
