Responsibilities:

Research financial regulatory documents of open, closed-end, and variable annuity mutual funds and ETFsAnalyze and capture key industry data for client-facing applications and research reports Work collaboratively with team members both in the Philippines and in the U.S.Effectively utilize proprietary databases, the SEC Edgar and other regional regulatory websites, mutual fund company websites, and the Internet to complete researchPerform data quality assurance: identifying and analyzing data quality issuesActively cross-train and expand opportunities to work on various related research responsibilitiesDo in-depth analysis of mutual fund investment strategies and objectivesDetermine relevant and interesting industry changes and summarize concisely in client reportsCreate and update documentation of work processes and maintain institutional knowledge in a centralized, web-based databaseSupport relevant process improvements, as well as technology projects, by contributing to specifications and testing deliverablesSpecial projects as assignedKeep up to date on financial industry news and market trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Business or a closely related field, or equivalent experienceStrong mathematical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated troubleshooting, follow-through, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work cooperatively and strategically in a team environment (can thrive in a cross-border / multi-cultural team)

Experience working with any of the following would be a plus:

With at least a year of relative work experience gathering and analyzing financial data.Proficiency in using MS Excel for financial data manipulation and preparation.Familiarity with annual reports and board reporting (15c, AoV)Knowledge of mutual fund fee structures

Work Location & Schedule:

Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent late dayshift schedule (12nn- 9pm, Manila Time)Amenable to go on an onsite training for at least 2 months prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement.Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days' work onsite per week)
