Junior Design Engineer - Water Services Job Details Job Location Boswell Engineering NJ - South Hackensack, NJ Position Type Full Time Job Category Engineering Description Junior Design Engineer (Water Services) As an Entry-Level/ Junior Design Engineer for our Water Services Department, training and mentoring will be provided on a consistent basis to enhance the right Candidate’s growth, knowledge base and experience. Responsibilities: + Prepare day-to-day paperwork necessary to see projects through from beginning to end + Complete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgets + Create and recommend water and wastewater treatment and improvement designs + Have a passion for continuous learning to keep abreast of the changing regulations + Desire to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challenges + Strong attention to detail + Strong verbal and written skills + Ability to work independently + Manage time efficiently + Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures Requirements: + Bachelor Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with some design experience + Design Tools & Software: If you are strong in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil, we’ll train you on more! + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Professional Engineering license(s) highly desired & supported (PE and/ or EIT/ FE Certification) + Experience or interest in the following: + Design of water/sanitary sewer conveyance systems + Wastewater treatment plant design + Water treatment design + Well redevelopment We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
