Skills and Competencies

0-2 years of proven experience in automation engineering or a similar role.Basic proficiency in automation solutions using Python , GenAI and other tools.Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and an eagerness to learn software development best practices.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the willingness to develop the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Basic experience or coursework in automation tools, such as Alteryx, Power Automate, or RPA platforms, is beneficial

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Python, Alteryx, SQL, or other relevant tools to support process improvement and enhance efficiency.Help maintain and optimize existing automation processes by working with scalable and secure code while adhering to organizational standards and best practices.Collaborate in the creation and optimization of GenAI models to enhance decision-making and increase operational efficiency.Contribute to the optimization of existing GenAI models and workflows, ensuring that GenAI solutions are scalable and deliver high-value outcomes.Support the integration of GenAI technologies into automation workflows, enabling intelligent data processing and dynamic content generation.Support the creation and maintenance of technical and operational documentation, such as design specifications, user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and support workflows.Monitor the execution of automation processes, ensuring all scheduled and ad-hoc runs are completed successfully, and addressing issues as they arise.Develop automated monitoring systems to track the health and performance of automation workflows, generating alerts for failures or deviations from expected outcomes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation workflows, including diagnosing failures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.Rerun failed automation jobs promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and documenting steps taken for resolution.Provide support during critical automation runs, such as end-of-month or end-of-quarter processes, ensuring successful completion and timely delivery of results.Test automation workflows in staging environments before deployment to ensure they perform reliably under various scenarios.

About the team

Moody's Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled Associate Analyst- BI & Analytics to join our Data and Analytics team within Finance. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions, integrating GenAI technologies to streamline processes, monitor workflows, and improve operational efficiency. This role includes supporting the use of automation tools, aiding in data management and analytics within a financial context, and helping maintain and optimize both traditional automation systems and GenAI-powered solutions.
