Junior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems for advanced chiller applications. This role involves creating detailed electrical schematics, specifying components, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and datacenter requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•\tDesign and develop electrical schematics for control panels and power panels supporting chiller systems.

•\tSpecify electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.

•\tEnsure proper load balancing, fault protection, and system redundancy in all designs.

•\tCoordinate with vendors and contractors for panel fabrication and installation.

•\tVerify compliance with applicable electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and datacenter standards.

•\tDevelop and maintain wiring diagrams and panel layouts.

•\tSupport panel testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

Deliverables

•\tComplete electrical design packages including schematics, panel layouts, and component specifications.

•\tPrepare technical specifications and vendor evaluation reports.

•\tProvide installation and commissioning support documentation.

•\tDeliver final system performance validation reports.

Qualifications

•\tBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

•\tStrong understanding of NEC and IEC standards.

•\tExcellent communication and coordination skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
