Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Automation and Testing Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the high quality and reliability of our software products. This role is perfect for a recent college graduate eager to kickstart their career in software quality assurance and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development: Assist in designing, coding, and implementing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing where necessary to understand the product and test scenarios, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.Test Case Design: Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test cases.Test Execution: Execute automated and manual test cases, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, automation scripts, and testing procedures.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing and automation and contribute to their implementation.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education: Recently graduated with a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).Understanding of software testing methodologies, types, and processes.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Passion for Quality: A keen interest in software quality assurance and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Basic understanding of database systems and SQL.Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
