Summary of Role GlobalFoundries Fab 1 is seeking a n Engineer Technology Development & Yield to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration and Yield team within the Feature-Rich product line organization . This role involves Yield analysis and debugging tasks and can include managing process integration topics from development to production . A solid background in electrical engineering and statistics , along with problem-solving skills is required . T he candidate should demonstrate a technical understanding of various processes and use a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery .      Your Job + Perform Yield analysis for experimental lots and production material + Perform effective data mining , i dentify , understand and resolve complex process integration issues based on Yield detractors + Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis methodologies to rapidly determine yield limiters, correlation to in-line defectivity , metrology, and electrical parametric signals + Generate new SORT test programs for development project s + Work with cross function teams , e.g. physical failure analysis team, to resolve technical & Y ield concerns. + Drive CIP s ( c ontinuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals. + Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE). + Work and collaborate on additional projects and/or assignments as needed . Required Qualifications + Graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering , Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline from an accredited program. + Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal skills and Ability to work effectively and efficiently with multicultural teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners. + Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) + Travel - Up to 10% Preferred Qualifications + Master's Degree or PhD + Prior related internship or co-op experience. + Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions + Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) + Strong planning & organizational skills We Offer The position is open-ended and to be filled as soon as possible .
