You will be part of the Transmission & Distribution team.
What are you going to do?
As T&D (junior) Engineer you will help Transmission & Distribution (T&D) companies in the Netherlands and abroad with their intended network expansions and reinforcements. You will work in a team with various disciplines, Because it is precisely by bringing together both process and various technical experience that we can accelerate our customers' projects. You are driven to make an impact and realize projects, and passionate about connecting your technical experience to experience in other fields.
Role accountabilities:
Technical client liaison from initial contact through project delivery Defining, contributing and/or delivering of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects throughout project lifecycle Designing and/or producing electrical engineering deliverables where appropriate Liaise with (CAD) engineers and/or technical third parties to determine safe, cost effective T&D design solutions (e.g. for substations, cable or overhead line connections)Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering (either BSc, MSc or PhD) or relevant T&D expertise build up during the career Experience working as a substation and/or plant engineer to international and/or industry standards Preparation of HV substation primary, control & protection and/or secondary equipment design deliverables, feasibility studies (e.g. earthing, fields, transients), reports, programmes and cost estimates Broad knowledge of Transmission & Distribution work field & technologies and a good understanding of how technology influence the operation and performance of the Power Grid Familiar with international T&D standards, working methods and software tooling (e.g. Revit, Elcad, Primtech, AutoCAD, PS CAD, etc) Can demonstrate success in designing and/or engineering and/or delivering projects safely to budget, time and quality that meets customer expectations Ability of working with internal and external parties and working within a strong (international/diverse) team-working culture Experience in writing clear and concise documentation and reportsNotes:
