Position: Junior Estimator
Location: Charleston, SC
Salary: $75k-$90k

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and create takeoffs for various construction projects with project teams.

Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements.

Utilize takeoff software to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project.

Prepare accurate estimates for site work and utility projects.

Assist with budget analysis for project materials and labor.

Assist in the preparation of estimates and bids for projects.

Provide technical support to project teams as needed.

Position Requirements:

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret data.

Ability to interpret contractual requirements.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies.

Ability to learn new software quickly.

Strong attention to detail.

Desired Training and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).

Prior experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel is a MUST!).

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies.
