This position will be responsible for federal proposal pricing of federal client solicitations and contracts. The position will work with Contract Managers and other team members to prepare federally compliant labor rates and manage and support other proposal requirements.
In the role of Junior Federal RFP/Pricing Administrator, we'll count on you to:Reviews client solicitations for FAR requirements and prepares required documentationPrepares Excel templates for building rates schedules and cost proposals in response to federal client requirementsReviews rate and cost information to ensure federally compliant rates and other data are current, accurate and completeDevelops, maintains, and keeps current all electronic contract documentation in a concise, organized mannerDevelops and maintains federal labor rate buildup templates and coordinates with our Compliance Department to annually update our DCAA provisional indirect ratesWorks with our Operations and Marketing teams to develop, administer, review/negotiate and execute Teaming Agreements/NDA AgreementsSupports our Federal Management Team in administering and submitting responses to our CPARS evaluations and supports pulling past performance information for proposal supportBuilds strong relationships with the proposal team and within the supporting departments (operations, marketing, accounting, legal) and regularly communicates status of requirements and deadlinesSupports HDR Operations Management and acts as point of contact with client Contracting OfficersPerform other duties and special projects as assignedPreferred Qualifications Due to client contract requirements, successful candidate will be a US-born citizenBachelor's degree or years of related experience may substitute for a degreeA minimum of 3 years of contracts or and/or proposal pricing experienceAbility to build and understand pricing modelsExperience building federally compliant labor rates and understanding direct and indirect ratesExperience with government contracting regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externally to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solvingHave a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks often within highly demanding timeframesRequired QualificationsProfessional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight Excellent writing and people skills Strong organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
