OverviewSummary
The primary responsibility of the Junior Field Services Engineer (JrFSE) is to perform installation, maintenance, and documentation functions for the 911 Public Safety customers, teammates, and management. The JrFSE will receive assignments from area 911 team members and the 911 Operations Manager. Travel may be required to customer sites as needed. The JrFSE will keep detailed records for time reporting and billing purposes.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Performs installation and maintenance on associated equipment; ensures quality installations/repairs of equipment to manufacture standards; reviews customer environments and specifications; adheres to shipping, asset inventory, and other administrative functions related to current team responsibilitiesParticipates (with instruction and guidance from senior technicians) in software and firmware updates to equipmentPerforms Moves, Add, Change and Disconnects (MACD) based on customer or Senior technician requestsEngages with technical support and any other ConvergeOne third party vendors when requiredMaintains detailed records of maintenance tickets, trouble resolution, documentation, and emails related to installation and maintenance activitiesProvides out-of-hours installation, maintenance, testing and cutover support when neededAttends training classes, management meetings and conference calls as requiredKeeps upper management and team members informed of customer issues and concernsParticipates in an escalation capacity as needed and in the direction of Senior technicians or Operations ManagementParticipates in scheduled departmental meetingsMaintains company issued equipmentComplies with all ConvergeOne Policies and Procedures

Pay Range
$70,000 - $90,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
