Junior Finance Controller Netherlands Retail, Utrecht

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Junior Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, reporting to the Finance Director for Netherlands, France, and Belgium. Your responsibilities will include:

Business partnering for smaller key accounts; Supporting month-end closing and forecasting activities; Actively participating in monthly review meetings; Ensuring accurate and transparent balance sheet management; Tracking customer marketing and trade spend; Delivering financial insights for various accounts; Setting up reporting for new channels and improving reporting for existing channels; Becoming a superuser within revenue management tools; Providing ad-hoc support to the Sales Finance Manager and sales teams.

 

Who We Are Looking For:

We seek a strong candidate with a proactive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should:

Hold a master’s degree in finance; Have 0-2 years of working experience in finance; Demonstrate solid analytical skills; Be a team player who is friendly, outgoing and assertive; Be excellent in Excel and preferably have experience with SAP. Speak and write English effortlessly.
