Responsibilities:

Researching, applying and interpreting established policies and procedures. It requires gathering data and preparing, tracking, maintaining, and updating employee records and information.Responsible for providing clear and concise feedback and instruction to employees when corrections/changes are required; maintaining metrics statistics, analyzing and evaluating complex information to form sound conclusions and taking appropriate action(s). Apply general business processes of the office to resolve routine to complex mission-driven issues; draft written notifications that are understandable, and assist customers in becoming self-sufficient in finding information to answer a variety of payroll questions. May be asked to assist with payroll close and voucher preparation.Responsible for analyzing, handling, and processing of overpayments.Initiate internal and external notifications to employees within 1 pay period of the posting of the debt to the general ledger.Monitor and collect dept to ensure compliance with Federal Regulations, to include the preparation of correspondence and memo transfer to Debt Collection. After 90-day training period, the candidate will be expected to process 10-15 cases per pay period, maintain up to date case information, and ensure work is within the audit criteria.After approximately 6 months of being in the position, the candidate is expected to become a Focal Point in several of the following roles:Monitor and process payroll deduction during Payroll CloseProcessing Salary AdvancesProcessing Pay MemosRetirement Code Changes/Fiscal AuditLWOP Checks/Cash ReceiptsOverpaymentsWorkmen's CompMemos/Debt LettersResponsible for ad hoc or other tasks relevant to the role.


Qualifications:

Required: 
TS/SCI with Polygraph

Three years performing financial records processing and management.Strong communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Excel.Ability to collaborate.High School diploma or GED equivalent

 Desired: 

Sponsor experience and system knowledge is desired but not required.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$60,100 - $123,300
