Job Purpose:

Performs projects of low complexity and assists more senior colleagues in more complex projects by 1) being involved in the settings/tuning of geophysical survey equipment, the collection of complete and high-quality geophysical data, the appropriate QC, the analysis and interpretation of data, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables and, 2) following established procedures. Works under supervision of more senior colleagues. Requires a college or university degree. Continues to develop geophysical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for acquiring (MASW, SRT, GPR, Cross hole / down hole seismic test, geophysical logging, ERT), Ultimately responsibility for: the collection of complete and high-quality geophysical data.Is responsible for all aspects of the project related to geophysical data acquisition, handling client at site including the line management, supervision.Responsible for equipment testing and monitoring under the supervision of Geophysical Operation In charge/Site in charge.Any other work assigned by company and/or HOD from time to time, based on competency.

Education, Skills & Experience:

Post Graduate holder with preferably 0-2 years of similar field in the company or Industry.Preferably experienced in Geophysical work in related industry.Having sound knowledge about Geotechnical industries, equipment and work.Good communication skills and command over English language

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
