The Junior HR Specialist – Professional Development Administrator  (which at Bain is called Coordinator, EMEA HR Operations) role is to own delivery for specified HR and Professional Development (PD) activities and processes in allocated offices. The person will work independently and will work remotely from the people supported, therefore, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and successful working relationships without face-to-face interaction are essential. The role is varied and deadline-driven and demands exceptional time management and attention to detail. This position requires daily use of multiple core Bain systems and applications but will focus mainly on the General Consulting Professional Development process for offices in the EMEA region.

The role is based in Warsaw and we are working hybrid (40% of the time you will be required to work from the office).


Responsibilities: 

Administer ongoing case review triggering, quality check, approval, and delivery for consulting staffAdminister bi-annual performance reviews for consulting staffWork closely with local office Program Management and HR Managers (HRMs) to initiate requests for consensus and case-end reviews for consulting staffTrack all case review and performance review data for supported officesAdminister a bi-annual upward feedback process for managers and partners Work closely with HR Partner and program management team to identify upward feedback recipients and providersTrigger review forms and continuously track completion rates to ensure all eligible employees are receiving the appropriate upward feedbackAct as the main point of contact for employees, HRMs, and Program Management regarding questions related to the PD system and process. Help troubleshoot questions as they arise, escalating concerns to the manager as appropriateProvide data for ad-hoc reporting requests supporting audits, queries, promotion diligences, performance analyses, and people analytics



Requirements:  

Associate or Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience1-3 years of professional work experience, preferably in administrative/operations HR roles in a demanding business environmentComputer literate; proficient in using Microsoft (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills) Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Able to deal appropriately with highly-confidential information Outstanding organization, prioritization, and time management skills Able to be proactive - and work on own initiative  Previous use of HR or PD systems a plus Fluent English
