Junior HSE Coordinator Level 2 Job ID 202544 Posted 20-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Building Management, Facilities Management, Health and Safety/Environment Location(s) Gent - Oost-Vlaanderen - Belgium, Stekene - Oost-Vlaanderen - Belgium **For our client Amazon Robotics we are looking for a Junior HSE Coordinator Level 2 with a good knowledge of Dutch and English (written & oral)** **Are you graduated with Level 2, or had a first experience in Health & Safety environment then we are happy to talk with you!** **Site based role 5 days a week - no hybride working possible - Rotating AM and PM shift (** **working in shifts Monday to Friday - week 1 = 6 am to 2 pm cet. - week 2 = 1 pm to 9 pm cet.)** The purpose of this role is to support the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management at the Amazon Robotics Operations site (ANR10) in Hamme, Belgium. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with HSE standards, supporting daily safety operations, and maintaining a safe working environment for all associates and third-party personnel. Key task : _Leadership_ • Serves as the primary support for any Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) concerns on-site. • Ensures that HSE standards and management requirements are properly integrated into daily operations. • Promotes a safety-first culture by encouraging proactive safety practices among all staff. _Implementation and Operations_ • Implements the site's HSE system based on the Amazon HSE Handbook, ensuring all procedures align with Amazon’s safety standards. • Facilitates effective communication between site teams, Amazon management, associates, and external personnel regarding HSE topics. • Ensures the efficient and effective delivery of HSE services on-site. • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling medical checks and safety-related training (e.g., PIT trainings, Firt Aid, …) for associates to maintain compliance and readiness. • Conducts daily safety audits and inspections to identify potential risks and ensures corrective actions are taken. • Follows up and provides support for the Permit to Work (PTW) process, ensuring that all work activities are managed with proper authorization and safety measures. _Key performances for this role_ + All audit-generated action items or regulatory findings are addressed and closed within agreed-upon timelines, with actions taken to prevent recurrence. + High levels of customer and associate satisfaction with the HSE program and its implementation at the site. + Full compliance with relevant Amazon HSE standards and regulations. + Successful planning and completion of required medical checks and safety-related trainings. + Completion of daily safety audits to maintain a high level of operational safety. + On-time Ordering and distribution of PPE’s, … + Tasks, all the above, not limited to Profile: **Level 2 safety advisor, Junior profile - first time work experience** + Attends HSE trainings to meet requirement of the role as defined by the Local/ Global Quality & HSE Lead. + Fluent in Dutch is required, and a professional level of English. + Good knowledge of HSE standards (especially HSE Legal matters in country) + Good communication skills + Good Learning Agility + Flexible Our offer In return, we offer a fixed contract, fulltime position with an excellent salary and benefits ( cellphone, laptop,..) with fantastic opportunities for progression in a growing business.
