Scope
As junior Human Resources Consultant, you are a part of the Netherlands HR team located in Utrecht reporting to the Country HR Director. The team is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Human Resources Consultant, who can work independently, but also very well together with other members of the team. We offer an attractive and challenging position (28-40 hours per week) in an innovative, ever changing IT environment with the opportunity to further develop within the team. The team consists of 4 HR Consultants, 1 Benefits Consultant and the HR Director.
The role requires a mixture of both HR knowledge as well as a hands-on approach. You stand for the quality of your work and will be exposed to and will be expected to deliver against the complete range of HR support and advice. You will work together with internal HR centres of expertise, HR business partners, HR operations teams, payroll and arbo-specialists. Key Responsibilities
You establish and maintain effective business relationships within the organization, so that you can proactively support the delivery of HR processes. This includes educating managers and employees on available HR tools, programs and resources. You act as a source of information for employees and managers about the interpretation and implementation of regulations. You find it a challenge to understand regulations and to explain them clearly.
You are in contact with the HR Operations team (based in Romania) and will be monitoring, reviewing and updating processes for the outsourced HR administration. You are keen to contribute ideas about the design and improvement of work processes and you take the initiative to do so. You like to simplify administrative processes, explain them clearly and organize a proper roll out.
You will manage some administrative tasks related to new hire induction, payroll, monthly reporting, leave administration and sick leave. You are (jointly) responsible for the digital control of the input of all personnel data in the HR system and the Sick leave administration tool. Experience with HR administration and/or payroll administration is a pre.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly professional colleague with a completed HBO education in the direction of HRM/HBO Law or demonstrable work experience in a similar position. Experience in a dynamic fast paced commercial organization or a complex, global business environment is a preference.
