Junior Investment Analyst

A Junior Investment Analyst in the Institutional Retirement Services division plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service internally to producer/consultants and institutional retirement clients by addressing their investment -related inquiries.  Responsible for helping to support an existing Institutional Retirement Services book of business.  The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and knowledge of retirement plans and financial services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:

Client Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for producer/consultants, addressing investment questions related to retirement plan clients.Provide accurate and timely reports on quarterly basis for plan clients.

Account Management:

Create and publish quarterly investment due diligence reports for each institutional retirement plan clientEnsure account updates, fund changes, and requests are processed accurately and promptly.

Problem Resolution:

Investigate and resolve account discrepanciesCollaborate with internal departments to address complex issues and provide solutions.

Documentation:

Detail oriented and thorough with organization of client documents.Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and account activities.Support periodic audits and compliance reviews as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Previous experience in financial services, customer service, or retirement planning (1–3 years preferred).Licensing: Series 65/66 and 63 securities registration licenses (preferred) or willingness to obtain in the first 12 months.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for clients.Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to address client concerns effectively.
