Job Description

The Industrial Water Treatment Sales organization in Belgium is looking for a:

Junior Key Account Manager                                         

Location: Home based (Flemish region)

Solenis are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager for the Industrial Water Treatment division, based in the Flemish regionin Belgium.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

An extensive training package will be provided to you, so you can fulfil the following Graduate Trainee Account Manager responsibilities:

·  Help the region achieving the area business plan and assist growing our business base in the Flemish region in line with our business strategy and commercial targets.

·  Provide on-site customer support testing and managing influent water treatment, cooling tower water treatment, boiler and waste water treatment applications in Belgium.

·  Working closely with and helping the southern regional team in maintaining 100% compliance with the Solenis service standards.

·  Onsite analytical testing, interpretation and evaluation of test results, chemical dosage rates, chemical and test reagent stock levels, and program deficiencies/corrective action required.

·  Ability to operate independently with minimum supervision and be able to assess and deliver customer focused solutions to issues on customers’ processes.

·  Working with a number of electronic systems delivering customer facing reports and data.

·  Degree educated or equivalent in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or Environmental Science.

·  Customer focus and ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations.

·  Delivering Results – deliver against strategic business KPI’s.

·  Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence.

·  Strong interpersonal skills combined with the desire to improve ways of doing things.

·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written and fluent in Dutch and English.

·  This is a field based role and some travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid driving license.

GENERAL SCOPE

Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

KNOWLEDGE

Good knowledge of the job.  Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a limited understanding of the technical phases of the job.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures.  Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports.  In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.   

IMPACT

Impact to overall activity limited to immediate functional area. Errors could result in rework, and minor schedule impact.
