Junior Partner Business Manager (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Junior Partner Business Manager (f/m/d) for our commercial partners in Germany to support our strategic sales development projects such as Devices as a Services and Collaboration/Hybrid Work & Security (temporary position for 2 years).

Your task will be to develop a strategic sales approach for your assigned partners, build a close relationship with management and sales and maximize HP’s share of business within the entire HP computing portfolio. You will also work on various strategic topics holistically, but also manage daily business, where you will be supported by our backoffice. You will cover partners with a long-standing HP business relationship, but also with significant growth potential. We are looking for a true salesperson, ready for regular f2f business trips, and with the sales spirit to really grow HP’s share of wallet in the partner. You will also be planning and attending sales events and joint marketing activities (e.g. Experience Tour, Business Breakfasts, Networking events, etc). An open mindset and willingness to learn and grow is key in this important and business critical role.

Your responsibilities:

Achieve assigned quota for HP products, services, and software – Grow HP Business with assigned partners.

Establish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth. Serves as the expert for complex information regarding product, services, and software transitions, promotions, and configurations.

Educate and update partner on new HP technologies or solutions. Also support partner to sell HP brand to end customers.

Successfully execute HP Amplify Program– incl. sub programs like Amplify Online or Amplify Impact.

Transactional and relationship selling working within a team of selling professionals.

Create, fill-in and manage HP funnel for deals and transforms potential leads into joint sales activities.

Establish relationship at all organization levels including senior executives, but specifically also with sales people to ensure they have a preference towards HP.

Ensure partner acts compliant with legal and SBC practices.

What do we expect?

Bachelor's or master’s degree in economics/business management or similar area

First sales experience at end-user account or partner level (1-3 years)

Good understanding in data analytics and how to use data to maximize sales

Good understanding in online selling.

Good communication and presentation skills (ideally in front of medium-sized audiences)

Ability to effectively partner with other team members/teams to ensure coordinated efficient account management

Ability to motivate partner's sales force

Fluent in German and English (Typical job interaction – internally and externally – in German language)

Flexibility - 25% of travel
