The Junior Parts Coordinator supports the growth of the spare parts business within the department. This role involves identifying customer requirements, recommending critical spare parts, and ensuring timely availability to meet customer needs. The Junior coordinator also collaborates with various teams to optimize inventory and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key elements of the roleResponsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following.
Contribute to the growth and development of the parts business. Support customer enquiries to identify parts and prepare quotations. Process and manage part orders. Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely attention for offers and orders. Stock control and demand forecasting. Contribute to continuous improvement and improving the customer experience. General administration duties. Responsible for tracking and reporting on key department metrics. Performing other related duties as assigned Qualifications, experience & competenciesQualifications & experience
A third level degree qualification, or trade, in a relevant discipline or suitable experience (engineering is preferred) Prior experience in a customer focused environment an advantage. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience working with an ERP system an advantage, i.e., SAP, Infor.
