Junior People Relations Partner

Job Description

As the Junior People Relations Partner, you will support the People Relations functions primarily for the Polish market, which is part of the East Region. You will also provide assistance in the Employee Relations area for other countries within the region as needed. Your responsibilities will include implementing global processes, policies, and guidelines while ensuring compliance with local laws and practices. You will help facilitate the alignment between global and local requirements to achieve a unified approach and effective delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in labor law, industrial and labor relations, including providing legal advice related to new markets, business models, and strategies.Represent H&M Group, build and manage proactive and constructive relations with local work councils and unions.Proactively help interpret and apply laws, regulations, and agreements to secure compliance.Contribute for Work environment (physical, digital, organizational, and social work environment/psychosocial) and Wellbeing including health and safety management.Set and implement a systematic way of working within the health and safety area by investigating, risk assessing, raising awareness, mitigating potential risks and follow up across the organization together with the Security team.Collaborate with the Regional People Relations Manager to adapt and implement policies, guidelines, and frameworks locally.Provide support and advice on People Relations to managers, HR, local crisis teams, and other functions in the local market as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a foundational experience in People Relations or similar roles. We are looking for a solution-oriented individual who approaches problems with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Being a team player who strives to build strong relationships and collaborations both internally and externally is crucial.

What you need to succeed:

Experience working within People Relations areas.Knowledge and understanding of Polish employment legislation and labor law.Familiarity with local-level negotiations and building strong relationships.Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.Experience in driving transformation, setting, and implementing strategies.Fair, empathetic, solution oriented, and committed to both the business and employee well-being.Analytical and reflective mindset.Experience in the retail sector is a plus.Formal education or experience in Human Resources/Labour Law (or equivalent).

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, located in Warsaw, Poland. Junior People Relations Partner reports to the Regional People Relation Manager.
