This role aims to support project managers, project delivery intake governance, demand management, financial reporting, procurement, status reporting, and other project administrative activities. The role compensation/line manager will be the PM&G Portfolio Lead and the day to day reporting line will fall under the PMO Governance Manager; with a matrix reporting line to the local IT manager in Manila.
The Role
PMO Analyst is responsible in providing administrative support to project managers to successfully manage and deliver technology-related projects. An analyst is expected to facilitate project intake and demand management reviews, under the guidance of the project governance or steering committee.
Analyst will play an essential role in helping maintain and monitor the health of the projects, centralize project procurement, consolidate project status and financial reports, coordinate with other functions, and provide administrative support. The role will contribute to project excellence and continuous improvement.
Candidates should expect to support project managers based in other regions, able to work primarily during EMEA-shift and willing to adjust based on project demands, be able to communicate (in English) to different levels of stakeholders, adhere to processes and meticulous in document management.
The role is expected to perform the following but not limited to:
Support Enterprise Technology PMO Governance policies and procedures by helping ensure that project managers are following project governance processes Support project intake governance & demand management by consolidating project requests submitted in the project intake portal, summarize requirements, and advise demand vs. capacity of resources Support project financial reporting by gathering and consolidating reports from project managers on a weekly basis or as prescribed Support centralized project procurement by receiving and processing purchase orders to invoice payment, tracking, and report summary Provide oversight of best practice and portfolio management tooling through the guidance of the project governance team, lead onboarding training of new joiners, assist in coordinating access to project management tools and materials Compile portfolio status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders Support the project management pool or resources in administrative tasks where requiredThe Requirements
Knowledge:
Extensive experience working in the project coordination activities, financial and status reports, and high degree of involvement in project processes and solid understanding of the PM roleExperience providing high quality coordination and administrative supportExperience in process improvement initiatives, document management, procurement, and basic accountingSkills:
Excellent prioritization and work organization skillsStrong analysis and critical thinking skills.
