RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize GCSS-Army to purchase USG directed material Collaborate with procurement officers, contracting officers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, assess procurement needs, and support the development of procurement plans and strategies Support contract negotiations and contract administration activities by providing analysis, recommendations, and documentation to ensure compliance with contract terms and condition Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and tools by providing feedback, participating in process reviews, and recommending enhancement Monitors performance of suppliers. Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and market dynamics. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects, or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends and maintains necessary records. Other duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS
3 years related experience High School Diploma, Bachelorette preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills English professional fluency, preferred. Ability to speak, read and write to appropriate and consistently communicate in English, preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain RSO Vetting Security Clearance Ability to successfully pass any employment related drug screening and background security check
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
