Meet your team:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Program Owner to join our growing team. As a Junior Program Owner, you will play a key role in supporting the management and delivery of the Commit to Consume Planning tool for large accounts across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in program management and gain hands-on experience working cross team with different stakeholders. You will work in the central IT department of SAP.

 

What you'll do:

Program Support: Assist in planning, executing, and closing programs according to deadlines and scope , everything to be documented in Jira. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams from different stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution of program objectives. Documentation: Maintain and organize program-related documents such as project plans, risk assessments, and status reports. Risk Management: Identify and track potential program risks, working with the senior program team to develop mitigation plans. Scheduling & Coordination: Help organize program meetings, track deliverables, and ensure resources are properly allocated. Reporting: Assist in the creation and delivery of program progress reports, ensuring all stakeholders are informed. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving processes, systems, and workflows for better program execution.

 

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 1–2 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role (internships or relevant coursework also considered). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent English skills, German is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana). Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Knowledge of program management principles or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plus.

 

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of Agile methodologies or project management frameworks. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting. Experience working in cross-functional teams.
