Junior Project Manager, Specialties – Risk & Insurance Due Diligence We are seeking a Junior Project Manager - Transactional Advisory practice within the Aon Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions global practice. Our team specialises in the provision of Insurance and Risk Advisory Services to the Merger and Acquisition community including Private Equity, Fund Managers, Investment Banks, Financiers, Large Private and ASX listed businesses, as well as to stakeholders involved in major development/construction projects. What the day will look like You will work within a highly engaged team to jointly deliver risk and insurance advisory projects. This will include business development, project delivery and supporting the implementation of new insurance programs. To be successful in this role you will have either worked on global and/or corporate accounts or been involved in delivering insurance advisory services. The purpose of this role is to support Project Managers and develop skills to deliver your own projects. You will be responsible for: Jointly preparing, managing and delivering risk and insurance advisory projects; Providing day-to-day support to the current Project Managers within the Due Diligence Team; Coaching and mentoring junior due diligence team members; Undertaking healthchecks of current insurance programs and analysing key contractual agreements from an insurance perspective; Providing insurance related mergers and acquisitions advice and insights to clients and deal parties; Working directly with private equity or corporate clients as well as their other outside advisors which typically include financial and legal experts; Building internal relationships and the co-ordination of specialist advice and services provided by other Aon practices; Liaising with internal Aon teams to implement insurance programs arising from the teams’ advisory services; Supporting business development activities including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential new projects; and Building your relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions with an aim of leveraging these into future business opportunities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts Delivering superior client service by being responsive and available to meet clients’ demands; Collegiate attitude and have good communication and relationship building skills; Strong written and oral communication skills.
