Junior Sales Associate

The Junior Sales Associate plays a vital role in supporting ATCO Frontec sales teams as they pursue new business opportunities in camp services across North America. Currently, ATCO Frontec operate in both Canada and the USA, delivering camp services along with facility operations and maintenance services to clients in the public and private sectors.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

·  Assists the sales team throughout all phases of new business pursuits, from initial identification to contract execution.

·  Monitors and qualifies new business opportunities from publicly available government and non-government resources, presenting those that align with interest criteria.

·  Conducts market research using provided tools to identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities.

·  Supports the sales team by tracking all qualified opportunities in Salesforce CRM, ensuring compliance with the sales stage gate process.

·  Contribute in contract negotiations with clients and facilitates the handover of successful bids to the operations team; attends trade fairs and conferences as needed.

·  Aids in proposal development and prepares for both internal and external meetings, including cold calling efforts.

·  Performs any other duties as required.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

·  1-3 years of experience in roles related to camp services and/or facility operations and maintenance services, or similar industries.

·  Results-oriented self-starter with strong sales skills and a proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.

·  Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating business opportunities and making informed decisions.

·  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

·  High commercial acumen combined with critical thinking, sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy to effectively resolve issues.

·  Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

·  Proficiency in cold calling and generating leads.

·  Demonstrated expertise in all phases of proposal development.

·  Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate successful contracts and partnerships.

·  Experience working with Indigenous partnerships is a plus.

 · Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

·  Willingness to travel for business approximately 30% of the time.
