Identify performance bottlenecks. - Monitor infrastructure and application services and drive incident management with on call support - Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications. - Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives. - Onboard, maintain expansive data pipelines for various security platforms - Involved in analysis and troubleshooting of security detections to minimize false positives and improve detection - Working closely with Multi-functional IT organization, Business group, Apple's production support team, application engineers, systems engineers, database administrators and QA team to effectively ensure implementation and reliability of Platforms/Applications.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications1-2 yrs of experience in software engineeringBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience)Understanding of databases (e.g., SQL) and Linux/UnixKnowledge of scripting language such as: Python or BashKey QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsGood foundation in at least one object oriented programming language (preferably Java)Familiarity with build and deployment systems using Maven and GITFamiliarity with software engineering standard processesFamiliarity with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Splunk etc) is a plusExperience or interest in automation is a huge plusSelf-motivated, independent, and dedicated with great organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
