Job Description:

We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our Information Systems team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected develop net-new solutions and maintain an in-house developed network automation framework. Have the skills and knowledge for the job? Learn more about the opening below!

Key Responsibilities:

Executes scripts based on specifications and standards

Documents and executes simple software components of larger architectures

Contributes to portions of value stream codebase

Builds, codes, tests, maintain high quality software

Participates in Agile sprints and ceremonies; supports rapid iteration and development

Translates user requirements into software requirements

Ensures that every page and every step a user will experience in their interaction with the finished product will conform to the overall vision created by designers

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in development

Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

Shift : 4 PM to Midnight (PH time) to overlap 4 hrs with NA time zone (8 am to noon)

Technical Skills Required

Python

JavaScript (eg. VueJS)

SQL (eg. PostgreSQL)

Ability to deploy, maintain and use Linux operating systems

Ability to deploy, maintain and use Github repositories

Familiar with tools such as Confluence and JIRA

Non-Technical Skills Required

Great communication skills as interacting with internal customers will occur daily

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

Ability to visualize and translate a customer's idea and requirements into a web based/automated solution
