The Jr Software Engineer Role

Join our vibrant team as a Jr Software Engineer in the fast-paced and innovative AI India Team. We believe in the power of data to change the world and are looking for individuals who share this passion. As part of our global R&D organization, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting Qlik's Cloud-based AI / ML components, contributing to transformative discoveries in data.

 

As a Jr Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software products. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless deployment through DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background and hands-on experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

2-3 years of professional experience in software development and DevOps.Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 

We would be thrilled to have a teammate with:

 

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience with Qlik products or any other Business/ Data Analytics Products.Knowledge in AI TechnologiesPassionate about learning emerging technologies.
