Junior Tax Provision Analyst

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of the Company’s worldwide quarterly and annual tax provision and all aspects related to financial reporting, and SOX controls and testing. The Junior Tax Provision Analyst role will report directly to the Director Regional Tax, EMEA and will be an integral part in supporting the worldwide tax provision function. This role will sit within the Tax Operations group but will also support leaders of Tax Compliance, Tax Operations and Tax Planning. This is an individual contributor role and is responsible for supporting processes and liaising with external advisors.

Job Description:

Assist with the preparation of all aspects of the consolidated income tax provision and related work papers, including disclosures for financial reporting. 

Coordinate collection and review of quarterly and annual foreign tax packages.

Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and support the creation of strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.

Maintain effective internal control procedures over all aspects of the tax process to ensure compliance with SOX guidelines.

Participate in other projects as necessary in support of M&A activities.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and technology solutions in the company’s provision operations.

Engage with and develop relationships with both internal and external tax resources.

Work with team members to ensure delivery as per agreed timelines.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of accounting flows tax frame works to support the process.

Job requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years of Public Accounting and/or Industry experience - manufacturing experience
preferred.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional computer skills with Windows applications (Strong Excel expertise
required; experience with Alteryx a plus).
• Working  knowledge  and  experience  with  ASC740  reporting  with  publicly  traded
multinational corporation preferred.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software a plus.
