Junior Training Associate 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Junior Training Associate 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:45 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $15.60 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. This position will have a 90 day training period, once completed successfully, the pay will be increased to $21.50 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will: 
•    Support site-wide training programs for all hourly production employees. Programs may include, but are not limited to on-the-job training, classroom training, and assisting in the hiring and onboarding process 
•    Collaborate with functional leaders on facilitating and implementing cross-training throughout the facility as well as focusing on the manning strategy to ensure all areas are covered
•    Partner with functional leaders to update training records, develop/update training content, and ensure training compliance 
•    Act as a subject matter expert in Breakers processes and flex into production as needed
•    Lead by example in areas such as safety, Eaton’s leadership attributes, initiative, quality assurance, Continuous Improvement, and product knowledge
•    Participate and lead continuous initiatives and support other projects as needed.
•    Maintain training folders and ensure all employee certifications are up to date and ensure all E-safety training is completed by production employees in a timely manner. 
•    Assess external candidates

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
•    Minimum of 3 years manufacturing, distribution, or military experience. 
•    Minimum 1 year of production training experience
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Two or more years of manufacturing experience
•    Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package 
•    One or more years supporting on-the-job production training 
•    Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) 
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills
