Your role and responsibilities

As a Junior UI/UX Designer you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centric interfaces for digital solutions in the power generation market. This position requires someone with some experience in UI/UX design, an understanding of technical requirements, and the ability to customize data visualization tools such as Grafana. You will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights through user-friendly frontends that serve operators, engineers, and other stakeholders in the energy industry. Please note that the role is temporary for 6 months. Working model: hybrid #Li-hybrid Your responsibilities: • Design of user-centric interfaces for cloud-based power generation solutions, ensuring a cohesive and functional user experience across various platforms.• Customize Grafana dashboards and frontends to deliver tailored data visualizations and insights for users in the power generation and energy management sectors.• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that UI/UX designs meet the specific needs of power generation operators and decision-makers.• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback from internal teams and external users.• Participate in usability testing, user research, and gathering user feedback to refine and improve user interfaces continuously.• Design interfaces with a focus on responsiveness, accessibility, and user friendly navigation, particularly in contexts where large data sets and real time monitoring are involved.• Apply front-end development skills to collaborate with development teams on implementing UI/UX designs, ensuring the end product aligns with the design vision.• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, design practices, and technologies to enhance the user experience in power generation solutions

Qualifications for the role

University degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in UI/UX designProficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similarHands-on experience in customizing Grafana for tailored data visualization dashboards.Understanding of data visualization principles, especially for complex datasets related to energy systems.Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to collaborate on front-end implementation.Familiarity with design systems and the ability to create reusable design components.Knowledge of user research methodologies and experience conducting usability testing.Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, particularly in the context of continuous delivery of front-end updates.Fluency in English
