The Area Key Account Manager (KAM) is accountable for developing and grow the company’s sales with our current and potential new key customers. He/she deploys our commercial BtoBtoC strategy to meet our revenue and margin objectives. He/she reports to the Sales Manager for Fluids Distribution. The KAM builds sustainable and intimate relationships with decision-makers and influencers within each customer's organization to meet and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact of our customers in the Fluids Professional Distribution.Accountable to achieve his/her business objectives and annual growth targets in terms of revenue and margin.Build annual plans per customer to achieve our business objectives.Forecast and regularly report on sales figures, sales analysis, and sales performance.Map customer organizations and know decision-makers and influencers.Build a strong common ground, mutually beneficial relationships with all our customers.Understand their needs and always strive to prepare the best commercial proposal.Be accountable for developing an understanding and explaining our product value proposition to several professional audiences. Perform regular training for Key influencers of our 80 customers.Support customer’s sell-out and follow Promotional campaigns.Prospect new key accounts to identify new sales opportunities to grow our business.Identify industry trends. Collect and analyze data to learn about customer and end-user behaviour.Attend main Shows and Customer events.
 

Job Requirements

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales in the Professional Distribution channel.Commercial knowledge of Industrial Greases and/or Adhesives & Sealants will be valued.Passion and drive to deliver results.Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships, to influence and negotiate with key customers in a BtoBtoC environment.Analytical skillsHighly organized, dynamic, and efficient. Problem-solving mindset.Ability to understand technical products.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Adaptable and flexible.Languages: Spanish. Professional English is nice to have.IT/Tools: Windows / Power BI / ERP & CRM knowledge preferred.Travel: regular national travels (Approx. 60%)
