greater efficiency, this is the opportunity for you! We are hiring for a Cost Analyst to our Business
Relationship Management team to budget, forecast and manage cost for Kiewit's home office functional
teams; HR, Kiewit Supply Network, Business Development, Audit, and Kiewit Business Services.
The Cost Analyst will be integral in cost oversight, including validating payroll costs, accounts
payable/receivable, human capital management, budgeting, forecasting, month end close processes, and preparing and presenting financial reporting packages to functional leaders. The position is an
opportunity to understand how the business organization is structured and impact the bottom line to
operating districts and the company through effective cost controls, validation, and reporting.

This position will work out of our shared services building, 7700 Eastpoint Parkway, La Vista, NE.
Responsibilities• Preparation and presentation of month end and ad-hoc financial reporting
• Coordinate and perform multiple transactional tasks in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, human
capital management, and cost adjustments
• Reviews costs, quantity claiming, budget structure and exception reports and makes appropriate
corrections to ensure accurate reporting for management
• Identifies, adjusts, and reviews forecast and budget issues with the cost report to confirm proper
recognition of cost and revenue
• Displays first-rate customer service skills – maintains a positive attitude and always willing to offer a
helping hand to other team members
• Builds effective, collaborative relationships by active listening, strong communication skills, agile
thinking, and proactive action
• Maintains highly organized work environment, understands importance of time management, and
communicates in a clear, concise, and effective manner
• Creating and maintaining process documentation
• 2 - 4 years of financial/data analysis experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or
equivalent degree preferred
• Experience with SAP, or similar ERP software, preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills; ability to communicate
effectively with employees at all levels of the company and disseminate information with accuracy.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Utilizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify
