You will be joining our high performing Knowledge Center Finance team in Cebu. Your Role Kuehne+Nagel's Knowledge-Center for General Ledger and Reporting (KCGL) will be based in Cebu, Philippines and will be responsible for all Asia and Pacific entities within KN group.\r\nYou will be responsible in close co-operation with the KC Finance GL & Reporting Team Leader for performing and timely execution of tasks related to GL and Reporting. \r\nYou will be responsible for performing day to day tasks, month end closing, as well as ensuring strict adherence to the Corporate Finance and Accounting Guidelines, policies, and standard procedures for an accurate financial reporting, safeguarding of assets, and timely submission of the financial reporting to Corporate Reporting. Your Responsibilities Implement effective procedures to\r\n ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial information,Identify control gaps, assess\r\n risks, and recommend control enhancements to mitigate potential control\r\n weaknesses in theInternal Control System (ICS),Monitor KPIs to drive continuous\r\n improvement,Coordinate the daily activities\r\n of the Accounting and Reporting department and ensuring that all major\r\n projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and\r\n within the set deadlines by Corporate Reporting,Follow and adhere to Corporate Finance\r\n and Accounting Guidelines,Ensuring that all accounting\r\n processes align with IFRS and Corporate Accounting and Finance\r\n Guidelines,Maintaining accurate and complete\r\n financial records and coordinate audits and reconciliations,Identify opportunities for\r\n automation and optimizations of activities,Review, investigate, and correct\r\n errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports,Ensuring all statutory accounts\r\n will be submitted on set deadlines for all companies in scope,Tax computations to be finalised\r\n for legal entities in the year-end reporting packages,Maintenance of tax and statutory\r\n books in ACON monthly via respective adjustment entries,Prepare, review, and analyze Statutory\r\n Financial Statements including notes and submission to internal and\r\n external parties when required,Coordinate the relationship with\r\n external consultants and audit companies,Accomplishes accounting human\r\n resource objectives by recruiting, and onboarding,Develop staff by managing\r\n performance, setting goals, and providing ongoing training,Work with external auditors to\r\n ensure correct, and timely closing, and reporting at year-end,Assisting in the implementation\r\n of reconciliation of IC transactions for transfer pricing process for\r\n the countries in scope,Main tasks during the transition period\r\n include but are not limited to:
(a) Support in preparation of a\r\n list of current and new processes to be transferred,
(b) Coordinate transition\r\n projects,
(c) Implement existing working\r\n instructions,
(d) Support in preparation of\r\n respective SLAs,
(e) Support in preparation the\r\n recruitment process,
(f) Introduce new joiners to the\r\n processes,
(g) Retention/enhance team\r\n structure-
Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, EconomicsQualification at respective country CPA, ACCA, CIA is preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of relevant Accounting and Reporting working experience in a multinational organizationExcel advanced skillsKnowledge of office based IT toolsAbility to work independentlyPresentation and Interpersonal skillsStrong communication skills, proactive approachPlanning and Organizational skillsStrong Leadership skillsVast knowledge of all local tax regulations, and IFRSStrong command of English, both written and spokenEstablish strategic relationship with interdependent areas and teamsMethodicalOpen-mindedFlexible to travelFlexible to work after hours when required
