Your Role Kuehne+Nagel's Knowledge-Center for General Ledger and Reporting (KCGL) will be based in Cebu (Philippines) and will be responsible for all Asia and Pacific entities within KN group.\r\nYou will lead a team of approximately 25-30 people at the beginning and will be responsible for day to day management, developing and growth of the team as well as ensuring strict adherence to the Corporate Finance and Accounting Guidelines, policies, and standard procedures for an accurate financial reporting, safeguarding of assets, and timely submission of the financial reporting to Corporate Reporting.\r\nWith the further growth of the center, you will also lead the transfer of additional processes and tasks to the KCGL in close co-operation with the country finance organizations and corporate reporting. Your Responsibilities Implement effective procedures to\r\n ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial\r\n informationIdentify control gaps, assess\r\n risks, and recommend control enhancements to mitigate potential control\r\n weaknesses in the Internal Control System (ICS)Monitor KPIs to drive continuous\r\n improvementOversees the daily activities of\r\n the Accounting and Reporting department and ensuring that all major\r\n projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and\r\n within the set deadlines by Corporate ReportingFollow and adhere to Corporate Finance\r\n and Accounting GuidelinesEnsuring that all accounting\r\n processes align with IFRS and Corporate Accounting and Finance\r\n GuidelinesMaintaining accurate and complete\r\n financial records and coordinate audits and reconciliationsIdentify opportunities for\r\n automation and optimizations of activitiesReview, investigate, and correct\r\n errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reportsEnsuring all statutory accounts\r\n will be submitted on set deadlines for all companies in scopeTax computations to be finalized\r\n for legal entities in the year-end reporting packagesMaintenance of tax and statutory\r\n books in ACON monthly via respective adjustment entriesPrepare, review, and analyze Statutory\r\n Financial Statements including notes and submission to internal and\r\n external parties when requiredManaging the relationship with\r\n external consultants and audit companiesAccomplishes accounting human\r\n resource objectives by recruiting, and onboardingDevelop staff by managing\r\n performance, setting goals, and providing ongoing trainingWork with external auditors to\r\n ensure correct, and timely closing, and reporting at year-endAssisting in the implementation\r\n of reconciliation of IC transactions for transfer pricing process for\r\n the countries in scopeMain tasks during the transition\r\n period include but are not limited to:
(a) Preparation of a list of\r\n current processes to be transferred,
(b) Preparation of a list of new\r\n processes to be transferred,
(c) Organize transition\r\n projects,
(d) Implement existing working\r\n instructions,
(e) Prepare and sign respective\r\n SLAs.   
(f) Prepare and lead the\r\n recruitment process,
(g) Introduce new joiners to the\r\n processes,
(h) Retention/enhance team\r\n structure,

Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, EconomicsQualification at respective country CPA, ACCA, CIA is preferredMinimum of 5-8 years of relevant Accounting and\r\nReporting working experience in a multinational organization Excel advanced skillsKnowledge of office based IT toolsAbility to work independentlyPresentation and Interpersonal skillsStrong communication skills, proactive approachPlanning and Organizational skillsChange ManagementStrong Leadership skillsVast knowledge of all local tax regulations, and IFRSStrong command of English, both written and spoken
