Scope Of Position:
The Christmas Kettle Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the Christmas Kettle Fundraising
Program. This will include but is not limited to: scheduling and supervision of staff and volunteers as well as the placement and
collection of red kettles.

Must possess the ability to work as part of a dynamic, high-performing team and maintain confidentiality. Must have the ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and communicate well with the general public. Willingness to accept and support the mission of The Salvation Army. Be flexible and open to new ideas, concepts, and ways of doing things while keeping pace with multiple priorities. Possess the ability to work well independently and in a detailed, professional, and courteous manner. Excellent scheduling skills with the ability to change plans at a moment’s notice due to last-minute absences and storeavailability. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Possesses general accounting and bookkeeping knowledge. Ability to use basic office machines/equipment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word & Excel. Able to pass a motor vehicle check as well as complete The Salvation Army driving test. Possess a willingness to periodically drop off and pick up kettles.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, run, jump, and twist on an intermittent and sometimes continuous basis. Maintain the ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, reach overhead, and carry office supplies. Maintain the ability to operate a computer, telephone, and similar technologies. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed inside and outside inclement weather, and there may be some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomfort with noise, rain, snow, dust, dirt, and similar.

Work Schedule / Location: Dependent on the corps needs and assigned by supervisor
