Kettle Coordinator

OVERVIEW: 

To help with Thanksgiving and Christmas efforts at The Salvation Army Corps locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule and coordinate kettle workers and volunteers Coordinate drop off and pick up of kettles Input kettle and kettle worker data Ensure proper placement of kettle stands Track kettle equipment distribution and collection Maintain and properly deploy TipTap equipment Assist in counting and depositing kettle income Assist in coordinating with store managers to address issues or concerns Attend and assist with Kettle Kick Off Assist in recruiting volunteers and workers

OTHER HOLIDAY EFFORTS:

Assist with picking up toys at various locations Assist with food pick-ups as needed Assist at Toy and Food Warehouse Assist with Thanksgiving Food Box distribution Assist with Christmas Toy and Food distribution Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) CA driver’s license (required)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Great communication skills Ability to lead Team player Detail oriented Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to assist people entering or exiting passenger vehicles Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
