What you’ll be doing:
Responding to prioritized support requests – the Account Executive will receive high-priority account manager requests from the Regional Sales Director and must coordinate response and required visits, both with the Account Manager and sometimes with just the Account ExecutiveTeaming with Account Managers to plan growth strategies across complex and high touch accountsVisiting customers to help the Account Manager close Data Center deals by bringing expertise and knowledge of Staples' offeringEnsuring executed wins by passing won opportunities to Key Account Managers and Customer Success Consultants to facilitate the execution of won dealsFacilitating issue and admin work to the Customer Success Consultant – the Account Executive will pass admin and administrative work through the Customer Success ConsultantCoordinating with inside Tech team as neededWorking with Sales Engineers and Architects as well as our OEM/Disty Partner support teams to create solutions that will meet or exceed customer expectationsEnsuring that we have the appropriate support and alignment to our OEM's and leveraging the effective solution to the customer.What you bring to the table:
Broad knowledge of the Enterprise computing landscape including Data Center Solutions, Cyber Security and Networking infrastructure solutions.Ability to position and support our offering vs a cloud solutionImpeccable oral and written communication skillsPersuasive interpersonal and presentation skillsSelf-starter with strong self-management skills and demonstrated success in larger contract long-sell cycle environmentsAbility to work cross-functionally while managing a dynamic sales processQualifications:
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED5+ years of demonstrated successful strategic relationship building and solution selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market.What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree2+ years’ experience in the Technology Industry (Data Center Solutions)Proficient in MS OfficeWorking knowledge of CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce.com)Experience with business-to-business sales processWe Offer:
