The Key Account Executive will be responsible for both proactive and reactive account and contract management for regional Iron Mountain customers. The goal is to protect and grow the customer base, safeguard revenue, and enhance Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS). This role includes managing customer relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring the achievement of revenue renewal goals.
Your role in our mission
Proactively and reactively manage accounts and contracts to protect and expand the customer base, achieving 100% of revenue renewal goals within the assigned region or segment.
Document, coordinate, and escalate customer issues (non-technical) as necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Assist in the coordination of onboarding new customers and managing account migrations in collaboration with technical resources.
Build and leverage customer relationships to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, passing them to the appropriate regional sales executive for closure.
Act as an internal advocate for customers, ensuring their needs are represented in internal projects and managing their expectations across various Iron Mountain teams (sales, support, finance, client services).
Ensure adherence to management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 27001) within all relevant processes.
Valued skills and experience
Several years experience in key account management, sales, or business development, ideally within the Turkish market.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage customer expectations effectively.
Ability to analyze data, manage account issues, and make informed decisions that align with company goals.
Knowledge with CRM tools and familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards, ensuring processes are compliant
Fluency in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
