About the role

The Key Account Executive will assist the Luxury Sales Manager in implementing strategies designed to grow Penfolds' luxury presence, experience, and sales across channels, including HORECA, fine wine retail, modern trade, and wholesale. This involves recruiting and retaining strategic corporate accounts and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) among private customers. The role requires an individual with a passion for luxury sales and the wine & spirits industry, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to deliver a best-in-class experience for Penfolds customers, while also contributing to the overall luxury brand experience. 

Customer Engagement & Sales Support: Support the Luxury Sales Manager in recruiting and retaining corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and fine wine retail accounts. Assist in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, including hotels, restaurants, modern retail top spender members, and wholesalers. Act as a point of contact for key customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and experience the luxury standards Penfolds upholds. Execution of Sales Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue within the HORECA channel. Coordinate and implement promotional activities, events, and tastings to engage customers and increase product visibility. Expertise in wine presentation and the ability to act as a wine educator for training and tastings. Work with the sales team to implement Penfolds’ luxury brand positioning in key customer touchpoints. Presentation and Event Management  Strong event management skills, with the ability to manage marketing activations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. Proven ability to engage with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, fine wine retailers, and HORECA accounts. Strong knowledge of luxury sales and the Penfolds brand, with an understanding of customer needs in the luxury market. CRM & Relationship Management: Support in managing customer data and maintaining the CRM system, ensuring it is up-to-date with relevant customer information. Help organize and execute personalized customer experiences that foster long-term loyalty. Use CRM tools to track customer engagement and sales performance. Market & Customer Insights: Analysis to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activity. Share customer feedback and insights with the Luxury Sales Manager to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings. Reporting & Administration: Prepare regular sales reports and provide data-driven insights to assist in strategic decision-making. Track sales targets and KPIs, ensuring that performance metrics are met. Assist with administrative duties, including internal and external communications, order processing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records. Provide general administrative support to the team and management, ensuring efficient office operations. Manage office-related vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.

About you

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related fields. WSET level 2 is preferred  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in luxury goods, hospitality, sales, marketing, CRM management, or a related field. Proven experience in the luxury or high-end service industry, particularly in the HORECA channel or Luxury brand sales. Experience in CRM management or sales support functions is a plus. Strong service mindset with a passion for delivering a luxury customer experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients. Critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, growth-oriented attitude with a focus on results. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in English
