In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the development and execution of online and offline sales strategies for Australia’s Pet Specialty Retail market.  

Your focus will be driving growth through strategic partnerships and leveraging an entrepreneurial mindset to enhance availability, visibility, and recommendations.

This role is essential to the ongoing success of Champion Petfoods in Australia.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Drive growth by developing and implementing long-term strategies for assigned accounts, prioritizing key market and retailer opportunities.Own the budgeted GSV/NSV for key accounts, monitor financial performance, and ensure revenue and profit targets are met using full financial data.Present new product developments (NPD) to corporate offices of key accounts.Conduct regular performance reviews with key accounts to analyze results, align plans, and refine strategies.Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors by maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders to capitalize on growth opportunities.Partner with the National Sales Manager  to develop and negotiate trading terms, acting as the primary contact to influence and secure the best outcomes for Champion Petfoods.

What are we looking for?

Proven Key Account Management experience preferably within a similar industry and Business building and business development focus.Degree qualification in Business or Marketing preferredIntermediate computer literacy with Microsoft office software. Experience working with Trade Budgets including promotional programs which enable delivery of the financial targetsDriven, self-reliant and resilient, able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment.
