Key Account Manager – Oncology Japan

As Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial goals and encouraging a high-performance culture. You will be responsible for a variety of customer engagement activities such as meeting with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and representing Regeneron Oncology at key meetings. The Key Account Manager will understand the national and local healthcare economy in order to identify the key people in Oncology; understand the account context and tailor your approach based on individual and account needs and build KOL support for the product.

As a Key Account Manager, a typical day might include the following:

Establishing Regeneron’s reputation and relationships with key HCPs across oncology therapy areas

Continuously keeping scientific knowledge around the product, indication and brand sales messaging up to date and reliably implementing sales & marketing plan.

Consistently deliver on the value proposition for the brand through key message communication to HCPs.

Work in alignment with the Japan Brand Plan, develop and implement a local account plan based on key data sources and local market insights.

Collaborate closely with medical colleagues to implement regional programs and relevant activities to support HCP needs.

Leverage all communication channels including digital channels, in collaboration with other functions, to achieve the best possible share of voice in the market.

Report results and developments proactively and clearly to the Japan leadership team

Ensuring Regeneron Field Specialists are viewed as clinical experts in their therapeutic areas.

Maintaining the highest ethical and compliance standards.

This role might be for you if:

You are passionate about ensuring that the brand's objectives are met by communicating key messages to HCPs, in line with good practice.

You are thrilled about balancing multiple channels to optimize customer engagement (e.g. F2F, remote calls, approved e-mails, digital communication platforms, etc.).

You have an innate ability to work independently to complete strategic and tactical plans under timelines.

You are dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic KAM who thrives on competition and embodies the spirit of champions.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably in life sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology. We're looking for 5+ years of sales experience within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector. You need to be ready for very frequent travel and have a driver's license. Previous experience oncology is preferred. Ability and willingness to travel as required ~80%, some on weekends for conferences and meetings. You will also need working knowledge of local healthcare compliance codes, and any regulations related to promotional activities. Experience in oncology marketing for KOL communication with an established Key Opinion leader relationships within Oncology would be an advantage.
