Key Account Manager

Role Overview

Liftec Express is growing and we are recruiting a Key Account Manager

The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management.
 

The role will hybrid working, time split between in person customer site meetings and travel to within our local branch network. The ideal candidate would be based within easy access of our Dartford office. The role would report to the National Service Sales Manager.
 

On a typical day you will:

Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing national Key Account customersServe as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiriesDevelop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids and tendersDevelop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitabilityUse sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales resultsConduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on timeCollaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues
 

What you will need to be successful 

You have a business or technical degree or have demonstrable Key Account/Service Delivery experience ideally in the lift industry, with a minimum of 5 years' work experienceYou have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal and organisational skillsYou have strong commercial contract experienceYou have strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customersYou are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization
