Key Account Manager
Join Emerson’s Flow Controls Nuclear Organization as a Key Account Manager, driving sales for Mil-Spec and specialty products supporting nuclear-powered marine vessels. Based in Mansfield, MA, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a critical industry. **IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:** + Directly promote the sale of all Navy-Nuclear Mil-Spec and specialty product brands and services. Brands include Anderson Greenwood, Crosby, Kunkle, Lonergan and Yarway valve products within Emerson’s shipbuilder, OEM and after-market fleet support customer base. + Make direct sales calls on Navy customer accounts, including sites, corporate/government offices, ship manufacturers (builders), and other associated businesses, etc., as they relate to the military industry for nuclear powered marine vessels. + Prepare and establish monthly booking profile, submit monthly call reports, itineraries, booking reports, and expense reports in a timely fashion to feed Mansfield Order POR. + Assist in the establishment of yearly booking forecasts for each product category with respective profitability and submit forecasts to the Director Nuclear Sales. + Meet or exceed yearly booking forecasts. + Produce annual goal documents aimed at leading and growing territory results. + Represent the company at trade shows, general sales meetings, and general industry functions as needed. + Perform general troubleshooting and service calls at customer sites as needed. + Evaluate the need for technical and commercial product training to end user accounts and request assistance from inside product management resources as needed. + Liaise with the inside sales and engineering groups to provide project input and to assist the inside sales team in establishing project price levels and margins. + Work in collaboration with Procurement team to refresh dedicated supply chain supporting Frame Agreement program and Back-to-Back volume conditions. + Assess the industry for potential business opportunities. Evaluate and justify cases for new pursuits, product development and pull through business. + Study the Nuclear side of the business for parallel synergies, practices or opportunities.
